The free site assessment is a preliminary desktop review of publicly available planning and mapping information for the address you submit. It is provided at no cost and at our discretion. We may decline to assess a property, or stop an assessment, for any reason.
The assessment is not engineering advice, a feasibility study, a survey, a title search, a geotechnical or flood investigation, a valuation, or planning or legal advice. It does not create a client relationship between you and Civil Design Group. It is not an application to, or an indication of the position of, any council or authority.
Our review relies on third-party and government data sources that may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect, and on information you provide. Constraints that are not visible in public records — including easements, covenants, contamination, ground conditions and servicing limitations — may materially change what a site can support. You must not rely on the assessment when buying, selling, financing or developing a property. To the extent permitted by law, Civil Design Group accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the free assessment.
We aim to respond within 3 business days but do not guarantee any timeframe.
You confirm you are the owner of the property, acting with the owner's knowledge, or are considering purchasing it, and that you are entitled to share any documents you upload. We use your information to carry out the assessment, respond to you, and contact you about related services. You can opt out of further contact at any time. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We may use de-identified information about assessed sites for education, research and marketing content. We will not publish your name, contact details or full address, or identify you as an enquirer, without your written consent.
Civil Design Group provides engineering services and may from time to time have an interest in acquiring, or in referring to third parties, land with development potential. If we identify any such interest in a property you have submitted, we will tell you in writing before discussing it further and recommend you obtain independent advice.
Detailed feasibility reports and engineering services are provided separately under their own written scope, fee and terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
